This 90-minute interactive webinar is designed to explore the power of person-first language, with a particular emphasis on effectively working with and serving youth and individuals impacted by substance use and misuse. Participants will examine how language impacts the treatment, engagement, and retention of youth and individuals with substance use disorders (SUD). Through engaging activities and multimedia content, participants will learn strategies for integrating stigma-free, person-first language into practice, promoting respect, dignity, and positive outcomes for the youth and communities they serve.
